How to copy the correct Pinterest pin link

Get the individual video or image URL on iPhone, Android, or desktop so Pinova can identify the right media.

Copy a link on iPhone or Android

In the Pinterest app, open the pin itself, tap Share, and choose Copy link. Do not copy the link while you are viewing a board unless the specific pin is open.

The app may return a short pin.it address. Keep it unchanged; Pinova follows supported short links to the original public pin.

Copy a link on a computer

Open the individual pin and copy the URL from the browser address bar. If Pinterest displays the pin in an overlay, use Share > Copy link for the most reliable address.

Check before downloading

Paste the URL into a private browser window. If it opens the intended pin without access to a private board, it is likely the right public link.
