How to download Pinterest videos on iPhone
Use Pinterest and Safari to save an available MP4 from a public pin without recording your screen or installing another app.
Quick steps
- 1Open the video pin in Pinterest, tap Share, and choose Copy link.
- 2Open pinova.pro in Safari and paste the Pinterest or pin.it link.
- 3Select Download, review the preview, and tap the video option.
- 4Open Safari's Downloads list; use Share > Save Video to add it to Photos.
Where the downloaded video goes
Safari normally stores downloaded files in the Downloads folder in the Files app. Open Files, choose Browse, and check iCloud Drive > Downloads or On My iPhone > Downloads.
If iOS opens the video instead of saving it, use Share and select Save to Files or Save Video. The available action depends on the video format and iOS version.
If the Pinterest video will not download
Confirm that the exact pin is public and still available. Private, deleted, age-restricted, or region-restricted pins may not expose downloadable media.
- Copy the link from the pin's Share menu, not a Pinterest feed.
- Keep a pin.it short link intact so Pinova can follow it.
- Temporarily disable a content blocker if the button does not respond.
- Try the full pinterest.com pin URL if a short link expired.
Keep the best available quality
Choose the highest-resolution option when more than one file appears. Recompressing, screen recording, or sending through some messaging apps can reduce quality.
